In summer

You can spend the spare time on the tennis-courts, golf or mini golf fields located not far from the hotel, relaxing in many of the thermal pools or going on rides.
Adventure holiday lovers can rent a bicycle at the hotel and go for a ride. All of the Gastein Valley is interweawed with bicycle tracks and routes, divided into blue, red and black routes depending on the difficulty. Adventurers can use the "Stubnerkogel" elevator 500 m away, which will raise you to the height of 2246 m, where you will be able to see the valley from bird's-eye view while walkingthe mountain paths. The paths are also divided into blue, red and black - depending on the difficulty. If you have no wish to wander too far, we can offer you a lawn near the hotel available for a game of badminton. Furthermore, "GASTEINER HEILSTOLLEN" radon caves are located 4 km away from the hotel. These caves have very peculiar climate - the air temperature is 37-41,5 degrees centigrade and humidity 70-100%. People from all over the world come here to treat various diseases (Bechterew disease, chronic polyarthritis, arthrosises, neuralgias, psoriasis, neurodermaititis etc.).

In winter

Skiing, of course! 200 km of emotions, adventure and discoveries from top to bottom, cris- cross. Different heights for different abilities and for all ages. There are 137 km of red tracks, 46 km of blue tracks and 18 km of black tracks (plus one track to every kind annualy!) in the Gastein Valley. Almost all tracks are connected among each other (Bad Gastein+ Angertal+ Bad Hofgastein as well as Dorfgastein+ Grossarl). Free of charge SkiBus runs between the elevators and the elevator card is valid not only within the valley, but in the neighbooring valleys as well. Altogether there are approximately 800 km of tracks! After skiing- wonderful thermal pools, discos, toboggan track (open till 24:00). There is a spotlit skiing track on Wednesdays not far from the hotel, which is working from 18:30 till 21:00.
